ALIGHT Spiral Of Silence CD (2018)

Italy has a long, underappreciated history with gothic rock, and ALIGHT are part of a lineage that takes the genre seriously enough to push it somewhere new rather than just worship at its original altars.

Their second album Spiral Of Silence finds the band expanding their sound with more technical depth while keeping the dark aesthetic that defines their work. Released on El Puerto Records in 2018, it sits in the space between gothic rock and something more atmospheric and contemporary, and the DigiPak presentation gives it the kind of physical weight that the format deserves.
