Bon Scott recorded Highway to Hell in 1979. It has not stopped being correct since.

AC/DC are one of the few bands that genuinely transcend the pub rock tag, mostly because they were always operating on something more primal than genre. Highway to Hell is the album that broke them internationally, and it still sounds like it was recorded in a room that was slightly too loud and slightly on fire. Exactly the energy you want on your feet. Punk, metal, grunge, it doesn't matter, every subculture has at least one AC/DC fan and they are never wrong about this record.
