There is no correct number of times to listen to Wish You Were Here. People have been finding new things in it since 1975 and that's not going to stop.

Ostensibly an album about Syd Barrett's disintegration and absence, it became something much larger, a meditation on loss, the music industry, and what it costs to disappear into your own mind. "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" bookends the whole thing like a slow-burning eulogy, while "Have a Cigar" does the funniest and most acidic thing a band has ever done with corporate music. The psychedelic rock and experimental credentials here are untouchable. DigiPak presentation does it some justice.
