The Phans hail from Ulm in southern Germany, and their self-titled debut leans hard into vintage rock, the kind that owes its soul to the early seventies rather than anything that came after grunge smoothed all the weird edges off. There's a supernatural thread running through the band's DNA, and the limited edition DigiPak presentation gives the whole thing a collector's weight that matches the commitment of the music.
