OASIS Mtv Studio London 1994 Poster 147
Before the lawsuits, the solo careers, and Liam's iconic anorak becoming a meme, there was this: Oasis in a London MTV studio in 1994, right on the knife-edge of becoming the biggest band in Britain. The Definitely Maybe era Oasis were still hungry, still mean, still genuinely dangerous in the way only a band from Burnage with something to prove could be.
This shot captures that specific moment, pre-Knebworth, pre-tabloid circus, when it was just the Gallaghers and a room full of people who hadn't quite figured out yet what they were witnessing. It belongs on the wall of anyone who knows the difference between the first and second album, or who's ever argued about it at 2am.
