Bryan Garris sounds like a man being exorcised against his will, and the band behind him plays like they have a personal grievance with every chord. This is not polished metalcore with a radio chorus waiting in the wings. It's suffocating, volatile, and precise in the way only genuinely pissed-off people can be. "Billy No Mates," "Mistakes Like Fractures," "Forget Your Name", they hit like closed fists and don't apologise for it. Essential listening for anyone who takes their dark aesthetic seriously and thinks most heavy bands aren't heavy enough.
